Rae Anne and Scott Rushing formed Rushing in early 2006, and have quickly grown their practice into a Pacific Northwest leader in mechanical and electrical engineering.
The company was founded to develop and deliver a new paradigm for MEP integrated engineering: traditional design expertise coupled with energy analysis, cost estimating, code strategy, construction oversight, equipment procurement, and commissioning. This unique combination of skills—along with a strategic approach as to how best partner with the design, owner, and construction team—means innovative and truly sustainable systems, cost and schedule assurance, and constructible solutions.
Core to the company’s skills are Rae Anne and Scott’s experience providing engineering and cost control management for two of the region’s leading design/build firms, Holaday-Parks and McKinstry. Their completed engineering and cost management projects include over 12 million square feet of mechanical systems—air, water, and specialty gas designs for office, retail, multi-family, arts, and scientific buildings.
