Benjamin Fitch, CAD Technician
Ben joined Rushing after six years in the furniture layout industry as the CAD Manager for Spacesaver Northwest and MRG. Ben worked on project such as: Malmstrom AFB Armory; artifact storage systems at Seattle Art museum; Utility Vault in Auburn; and Storage systems at Basset Army Hospital.
Ben has an ability to visualize in 3D what he is coordinating and drafting in 2D. This makes him ideal when crafting the Rushing product for our clients.
Ben is currently working on Rushing standards and developing our Building Information Modeling tools. Rushing’s current platform is Autodesk Building Systems 2007.1 and Ben is actively investigating other systems such as Autodesk MEP 2008, Autodesk Revit MEP 2008, and CAD Duct MEP.
