Eric Vander Mey, PE
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Eric has collaborated with Rae Anne and Scott for over ten years, and comes to Rushing Company after starting his career at McKinstry and Holaday-Parks as a Design/Build Engineer. Eric’s strengths include a unique ability to understand complex design challenges and brainstorm solutions that are cost effective and sustainable. He has a passion for the details and an innate understanding that project solutions need to be cost effective.
Eric’s completed work includes notable office projects for Microsoft and Vulcan, large scale high-rise residential and senior living projects, complex health care and laboratory projects for Children’s Hospital and biotechnology companies, and retail and restaurant work. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, is a LEED Accredited Professional v.2.1, and is a Licensed Engineer in the State of Washington.
