Rae Anne is among the top design/build mechanical engineers in the Northwest. With 20 years in mechanical engineering and construction, she differentiates herself with deep mechanical systems cost analysis expertise, and fluency in a wide variety of delivery methods. She has been responsible for concept design, budgets, engineering, cost management, and construction of $150,000,000 of mechanical systems for office, retail, laboratory/biotech, residential, and healthcare clients. A respected industry pioneer, Rae Anne formed Rushing in 2006 to bring a new type of engineering and delivery company to the market.
Rae Anne’s greatest passion is preconstruction—strategic planning, costing, and management of engineering and construction services. Her personal drive is to make cost and constructability expertise available to clients early in the development and design process, so that important decisions can be based upon full information and strong analysis.
Rae Anne has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. She is a LEED® Accredited Professional and a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington. In June 2006 she was appointed to the Seattle Fire Code Advisory Board.
