Scott Anderson
Facility Operational Advisor
Scott is a facility management expert, with particular expertise in equipment and systems maintenance for research and manufacturing critical environments. He has managed large scale facility growth and expansion projects and control system installation and maintenance, as well as budgeting and managing staff to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. At Rushing, Scott is responsible for providing facility operations input to our engineers, managing rebates with the utilities, and serving as our lead commissioning authority.
Scott has been recognized for success in planning for his clients’ growth and proactively supporting the changing and complex equipment and environmental needs of growing biotech companies. Scott’s comprehensive knowledge of laboratory and manufacturing utilities and operational requirements include WFI and RODI water systems, clean steam and clean laboratory gases, HVAC systems serving classified and unclassified space, and upstream and downstream process equipment for microbial and cell culture production. Scott’s career includes a long history at ZymoGenetics in Seattle and work at McKinstry.
