Rushing's newly renovated, circa 1920, office space shows how an ordinary commercial office building can achieve LEED^® Platinum without breaking the owner's bank account.

The strategy taken was to:

• Reuse existing building elements
• Design for flexibility and growth
• Design building as a testing ground for green materials and equipment
• Reuse old furniture and equipment
